Accessibility Statement

Stan Consulting LLC works to improve digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We review the experience on stanconsultingllc.com against relevant accessibility standards and address barriers as they are identified.

1. Our Commitment

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as the target for stanconsultingllc.com. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies.

As we improve the site, our goal is to help visitors:

  • Find and perceive meaningful content on the page
  • Use interactive elements with a keyboard or assistive device
  • Understand the content and navigation structure
  • Experience the site consistently across different browsers and assistive technologies

2. Conformance Status

stanconsultingllc.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to identify and remediate gaps.

Accessibility measures currently in use include:

  • Semantic HTML and heading structures in current page templates
  • Alternative text for meaningful images, with older pages still under review
  • Contrast standards for body text and primary interface elements
  • Keyboard support for primary navigation and forms
  • Accessible names for icon-only controls where they are used
  • Mobile form layouts designed to avoid forced zoom

3. Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas where the site does not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA:

  • Some older content pages may have missing, incomplete, or unnecessary alternative text
  • The cookie consent banner is being updated to meet WCAG 2.1 keyboard navigation requirements
  • Some color combinations in decorative interface elements, including gold on white, may not meet contrast requirements for normal-size text. These combinations are not intended for body text or interactive controls.

4. Technical Specifications

stanconsultingllc.com uses the following technologies in support of its WCAG 2.1 accessibility target:

  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript (for interactive elements only)

Accessibility checks include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge. Screen reader checks include macOS VoiceOver and NVDA on Windows. These checks support ongoing review but do not replace a formal third-party audit.

Stan Consulting LLC has not yet commissioned a formal third-party accessibility audit. We plan to commission a WCAG 2.1 AA audit as part of our ongoing site improvement program. This statement will be updated when audit results are available.

This accessibility statement was prepared on April 16, 2026. It was last reviewed on July 30, 2026. We review and update this statement at least annually or following significant changes to the website.
