Existing business tools become part of the assistant’s work
Meta announced Muse for Small Business on September 29, adding business skills and connections to services including Shopify, Klaviyo and QuickBooks, as well as Facebook and Instagram business accounts. Meta says nothing publishes, sends or spends without approval.
For an owner, the useful question is which specific job becomes easier to complete and check. A long connector list does not answer that.
Start with a task whose answer you can verify
Our recommendation is a bounded first assignment, such as preparing a campaign brief from approved product information. Name the source material, the intended audience and the deliverable. Keep the first output as a draft that a person can compare against those sources.
For a report, ask for the period, currency and data source behind each number. For a campaign, verify the offer, exclusions and destination before approving a public action.
Give access according to the job
We recommend connecting only the accounts needed for the selected task and checking the requested permissions with the account owner. Define who approves an action and how completed work will be reviewed.
A useful trial ends with evidence: the draft, the corrections it needed and the time spent checking it. That is a stronger basis for expanding use than a claim that the assistant can run the business.

What to check next
- Check availability and the connector list in your own Muse account.
- Pick one task and write down its permitted inputs and expected output.
- Review account permissions before connecting customer or financial records.
- Require a named person to check recipient, wording, offer and budget before approval.
- Compare the finished work with the original source and record the corrections.
Sources and scope
Meta’s announcement describes Muse availability in the United States and Canada. Available connectors should be checked in the app. Product claims and approval safeguards are Meta’s statements, not a Stan Consulting performance or security test.
The announcement is confirmed by the source below. Practical checks in this article are Stan Consulting's recommendations.
