More places to run campaigns
Shopify’s October 28 update says Campaign Autopilot is available to all merchants. Its listed channels include Meta Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Snapchat, Shop and Shopify Messaging. X Ads is coming soon.
Merchants set a budget and guardrails. Autopilot uses store, product and customer information to build campaigns, select channels and adjust spending. Access starts from Growth in Shopify admin.
Approve the SEO change itself
Autopilot also proposes SEO changes for review and approval, with requests possible through Sidekick. Treat each suggestion as a change to a real page: read the proposed wording, check product facts and decide whether the page still answers its intended buyer.
Our recommendation is to save the original page and the approved change together. That makes it possible to understand what changed later, rather than trying to reconstruct it from a movement in search traffic.
Set a budget that the business can support
Before switching on another buying channel, decide how much a completed sale can cost after discounts, fulfillment and returns. An automated allocation can move money; it cannot make an unprofitable offer profitable by definition.
Check for overlapping campaigns already run by your team or agency. Agree who can change the budget and who will review the first results. Test with a defined spend limit and an agreed review date.

What to check next
- Review available channels in Growth and keep X Ads marked as planned.
- Set an affordable spend limit and assign a campaign owner.
- Check existing campaigns for overlapping audiences and offers.
- Approve SEO suggestions only after reviewing the actual page changes.
