Campaign translation stays inside Google Ads
Google’s November creative update describes AI Campaign Translation across 15 languages, including Spanish, French, German and Portuguese. The workflow lets advertisers localize and review campaigns inside Google Ads. Google recommends reviewing the translated campaigns while paused.
For a business selling across languages, our recommendation is to review the full buying path together. Check the ad, destination page, offer dates, delivery coverage and the language in which the team can answer enquiries. Translating the ad does not make the rest of that experience ready.
Existing product photos become inputs for new assets
The update also describes multimodal Asset Studio features for seasonal product scenes and video generation with Gemini Omni 1.2. Videos can be created in horizontal, vertical and square formats. Brand-guideline files and several real product views can provide context.
Keep a source product photo beside every generated result during approval. Look for changes to color, material, size, packaging or included accessories. An attractive holiday scene can still give a buyer the wrong idea about what arrives in the box.
Make the first test answer one question
Choose a creative decision before producing a large batch. For example, compare two opening images while keeping the offer, audience and destination consistent where practical. That gives the result a clearer interpretation than changing every part of a campaign at once.
Check small-screen readability and the crop in each placement. Record which assets were approved and when the promotion ends, so an expired offer does not remain in a generated variant after the main campaign changes.
